Youth clubs for girls Year 4 to Year 13
Our clubs promote:
● Worthwhile interests and skills
● Personal responsibility
● Social awareness
All the activities in the clubs help each girl to grow in maturity, develop her talents and gain a greater understanding of the needs of others.
Typical activities will include crafts, cooking, sport, cultural trips and visiting the elderly. Volunteering for older girls includes working in soup kitchens and helping with the homeless. Social projects overseas are another volunteering opportunity which greatly benefit older girls. These activities complement and expand students’ practical PSHE education.
Our clubs help girls to make genuine and lasting friendships. For every girl who wants to, there is the opportunity to have personalised mentoring sessions so that she can develop a healthy self-esteem and strive always to give of her best.
Our clubs are for girls aged 8 – 18 years old. Parents and volunteers run the activities which are tailored to each age group.
Study sessions and workshops for older girls
Within the setting of our clubs, we offer study sessions for girls in secondary school. These sessions offer extra help especially in EFL and maths, particularly for families unable to afford such tuition.
This benefits girls whose first language is not English, by improving their understanding of English and English culture.
Girls can also take advantage of workshops on study skills and time management.
To help girls navigate their teenage years, we offer workshops, run by experts, on self-esteem, confidence and relationships.
