Welcome to Tamezin

We are an educational non-profit making organisation set up in 2024 to run activities with a Christian ethos for the whole family. We welcome people from all beliefs, ages and backgrounds. Our activities take place in centres around the country. Tamezin is here to inspire the whole family, especially women and girls, to believe in themselves and their values, to achieve their full potential and to flourish in society for the benefit of all

Our activities promote

Respect for the individual

Personal freedom

Responsible attitudes

Personal growth and self-confidence

To support each family member to:

Fulfil their potential

Develop responsible attitudes in professional, personal and public life

Gain greater personal wellbeing

Contribute to making the world a better place

What we do

We support everyone in our activities to become the best version of themselves.

We offer spiritual support to help each person find God in everyday day life, for those who would like this. Activities of a spiritual nature offered by Tamezin are entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church.

Our activities are organised and run by volunteers. Our Wellbeing Team runs a programme of training to help our volunteers to respond appropriately to mental wellbeing issues among young people who attend our activities. The Team also looks after the wellbeing of our volunteers.

What people say

Consuelo, mother of eight children, who attended a parenting conference at Dawliffe Hall

“They cover everyday human, cultural and social questions that affect all of our society as a whole. It is a place where I can grow fully as a person.”

Emma, a young professional, who benefits from the activities at Pembridge

“Being surrounded by other wonderful people, during mealtimes and get-togethers, helped me overcome the homesickness I felt at the beginning.”

Marta, a former resident of Ashwell House

“It was a wonderful experience which taught me how to appreciate life and be more selfless and grateful. I would recommend to get involved!”
